A little background about our guest:
Adrianne Sanogo studied at the world renowned Gemological Institute of America [GIA] where she earned a GIA Graduate Gemologist® (GG) diploma, and Graduate Pearl (GP) diploma. She is a founding Board Member and Education Chair of the newly formed Black in Jewelry Coalition and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee member of the Women’s Jewelry Association, New York City Metro chapter. As needed, she assists law enforcement as an expert identifying gems and jewelry from the evidence room. As an educator, she informs and advises the public across several platforms about the correct identification and care of gems, minerals and jewelry in private collections or future purchases.
In her free time, she enjoys antique and vintage jewelry hunts and hummingbirds.
